So, this has just arrived from YouTube. And you might be wondering why and what it is. Well, let me give you some backstory. I don't know when exactly it happened. But to the best of my knowledge, it must have been when I was recently upgrading my YouTube studio with this soundproofing panel.

So, I took down my 100k subscriber plaque for the first time since I received it.

After I fitted the panels and put the plaque back up around a month later, I was looking at …" It was at this moment he realised "because it was probably when I was cleaning it. I managed to scratch off the 1.

So the plaque now reads congratulations on passing 0 subscribers.

Now, being a little bit OCD, I immediately wanted to fix it or, in the worst case, replace it… so that's why this is here…but this is not like the original in more ways than 1. But you know something interesting happened whilst I was waiting for this to be shipped. I started looking at the original plaque. And I realised something important.

If we go back to around 4 years ago. I was working a full-time door-to-door salesman job. Living in an old, run-down, one-bedroom flat with my dog Kaya and me was miserable. It was entirely commission-based, so I wouldn't earn enough to cover the rent if I didn't hit my targets.

But there was a shining light at the end of the on the side of the mountain & just a glimmer of hope. And a little bit of extra cash on the table every month thanks to the content I created here on YouTube and to you guys who watched it.

And it was enough to ensure I could buy food for me and Kaya. And that allowed me to keep it moving onwards and upwards.

So what I'm getting at here is for anyone standing at the bottom of the mountain, that is, YouTube, looking up and thinking it's too hard, the learning curve is too steep. Or worried that there are people out there who want to push you back down or hold you back. And if you do succeed you will pick up some haters along the way…that comes with the territory. And if you don’t have any, you’re probably not doing it right.

But my advice is ‘Yeah, don't think about that. It’ll slow you down’

The most important step on the journey is. Passing zero subscribers. So that's why I look at this original plaque in a new light.

It reminds me of when I was not too long ago in a dead-end job, struggling to scrape two pennies together. Now, I am my own boss and can fly worldwide for free. And now I can make in a day what I did in entire month at my old sales job as a branch manager. And it's all because of you guys and the content I make here on YT.

I am telling you this not to brag. That's not my style. I'm telling you this to encourage you and anyone still staring at the mountain. Too scared to climb it. Don't be afraid, homie. Just focus on that first step & then the following 1.

Anyway, enough of this sentimental bullshit. Let's get a look at what's in this box.
