I covered you, from gamepads and controllers to interesting charging docks and headphones. So whether you're a casual gamer or a serious mobile gamer, get ready to level up your gaming experience with these top 10 gaming accessories for smartphones. 2023 edition

Veektomx powerbank VT052L

Number one is the Veektomx power bank VT052L is an excellent choice for gamers for several reasons. Firstly, this power bank has a high capacity of 5,000mAh, which means it can charge a smartphone back to 100% at least once with its 20 watts power delivery speed.

But here's why I chose it. It's been designed so that it doubles up as a kickstand. So this means you can charge your phones while gaming. So this means you can double your screen on time whilst gaming. Making it perfect for travelling. And there are two colours, black or white, and two versions, USB C or Lightning for iPhone.

It's compact and can fit in the same pocket as your phone whilst charging, and it's affordable at around £20 here in the UK. And it's even got a digital display to show you how much backup battery power you got left. And, of course, you can use it to charge your earbuds or tablets. It's definitely one for a gaming utility belt.

Tozo G1 Wireless Gaming Earbuds

You need a good screen & good audio if you want the optimal gaming experience. That's why the TOZO G1 gaming earbuds are number 2 on my list. These have an excellent average rating on Amazon and are great value for gamers for several reasons.

Firstly, they provide high-quality sound with a deep bass effect, which is crucial for gamers who need to hear every sound detail in games, from footsteps to gunshots.  The earbuds have a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz, which is respectable for an affordable set of earbuds.

Secondly, the TOZO G1 gaming earbuds have low latency, so there's minimal delay between what you're seeing and hearing. This will help you react quickly, giving you a competitive edge in multiplayer games, especially in first-person shooter games like PubG, Apex and COD Mobile.

You get 6 hours of playtime on a single charge with an additional 24 hours of backup power in the charging case. And no gaming gadget would be complete without a performance-improving RGB.

They are available in 3 colours black, blue and space grey and cost around 29 dollars and 29 pounds here in the UK.

Mobile Gaming Corps MGC Claw Socks

Here is a secret weapon pro smartphone gamers don't want you to know about. These MGC claw socks are designed to give gamers better control over their device by improving grip, reducing smears and smudges, and will help you glide to victory more often.

The MGC Claw Socks use a carbon fibre material, which can help with precision and accuracy. Again just like the low latency earbuds, they're ideal for first-person shooters and racing games.

Another benefit of the MGC Claw Socks is their ability to protect the smartphone from accidental drops. Thanks to their slip-proof design & they are sweat resistant, too…so when your intense gaming sessions get a little sweaty, your screen, thumbs, and fingers won't be.

The MGC Claw Socks are an affordable accessory at 12.99, and you get 6 of them in a pack, making them an accessible option for you if you want to level up without breaking the bank.

Trilink Phone Cooler

Staying cool under pressure is the key to peak gaming performance. And the TRILINK Phone Cooler will help you to achieve that. It is a perfect accessory for smartphone gamers for a few reasons. Firstly, the cooler helps to prevent overheating of the smartphone, which reduces performance throttling. Overheating can lead to lag, and slower frame rates, and the worst-case scenario is that the heat generated during a long gaming session could damage your device.

The TRILINK Phone Cooler helps to dissipate heat and stop that from happening. Thanks to its universal grip, I like this because it is compatible with most smartphones. It has a 2100mAh rechargeable power supply and can run off a USB-C power supply. And there's a 1.5m cable in the box. And there are two cherries on the cake. A digital display to show you the live temperature has some game-changing RGB behind the fan. This retails at around £39.99. Prices fluctuate, and there will be links to the most up-to-date prices for everything in this video in the description, including my new channel sponsor. The Ridge.

Turtle Beach Atom Controller

Ok, number 5. If you are serious about taking things to the next level, this one is for you. This is the Turtle Beach Atom Controller. It's the most expensive item on this list, but I have some fantastic more affordable alternatives, so stick around for those if this is more than you'd like to spend.

There are several reasons why this Controller is an excellent choice for gamers. The Turtle Beach Atom Controller has full-size thumb-sticks, a d-pad, bumpers and triggers, and ABXY buttons in the usual Xbox layout. And you do get one month free Xbox game pass with this.

The Atom controller is in two parts & uses BT 4.2 to connect. This keeps input lag low, but more importantly, the two separate parts connect to each other over 2.4 GHz Wifi, which means there's no limit to how wide your device can be. One thing to look into before purchasing is how deep and tall your device is. The thickness range can be anywhere between 6.7mm and 9.2mm. And the max height is 9CM.

And because the pieces magnetically connect when not in use, it only takes up a little space if you want to carry it around. And the Turtle Beach Atom Controller does have a companion app that allows you to adjust dead zones and response curves on the sticks. This is pro-gamer-level stuff.

The Turtle Beach Atom is built to help you win… but are you willing to pay the cost to be the boss…when it comes to online gaming? At the time of this video, it retails for 69.99 and is available in 3 colours.

Ozkak AK66 PubG Game Controller

Ok, this is such good value. It's just 24.99. It is the Ozkak AK66 4000mAh Controller. It is quite specifically for first-person shooters. This Controller is compatible with almost all smartphones & it adds 4 trigger inputs to your gameplay.

And if you get good with this, it's almost like cheating because most mobile gamers using touch controls only have two thumbs to control their gameplay. With this, you'll have 6. And if you want to use any of the triggers, you can flip them back if not needed.

This will only work well with games that allow you to move the input areas around in the settings. Quite a few shooters do support this. So make sure you check that your game allows this before you buy this Controller.

This is quite a heavy bit of kit because it is the version that has a 4000mAh battery pack built-in and a cooling fan. You can get this exact grip without the battery and fan, which is 17.99. Which is a fantastic deal If this isn't good value for money, I don't know what is.

OASO Stylus Pens for all smartphones and tablets

Now let's go even more affordable with these disc tip styluses. Now you might be wondering why these are these good for gaming. Well, if you're into real-time strategy games like Clash of Clans. A stylus can be great for several reasons.

Firstly, it can provide more precise control and accuracy than using your fingers alone, especially in games that require delicate movements or precise pin-pointing.

And remember that a stylus doesn't obstruct the display as much as your finger would, so you can see more. And also, using a stylus could help reduce fatigue and strain on your fingers, especially during extended gaming sessions.

Another reason I like these ones specifically is that the disc tip won't indent a TPU screen protector if you have one on your device. It's retractable and replaceable; you two and two carry pouches with them. The pair cost just 15.99. These are great, and they do have over 10,000 reviews on Amazon and 4 and half star ratings. So that's noteworthy

Trilink Game Controller

Here is another universal gamepad, but this one has a slightly different offering than the Ozkak. This is the Trilink Game controller with a 4000mAh power bank and dual cooling fans, so this is literally cooler than the Ozkak controller. However, it only has two trigger inputs which are enough for most people.

It is the same price as the Ozkak at 24.99, but Trilink throws in some deal sweeteners like the wasp feelers. These are less premium than the MGC ones but not bad for free.

I like the soft touch finish on the Trilink Game controller; it's comfortable and ergonomic. Like the Ozkak, the touch levers can be flipped back if unnecessary. But this one does have a unique trick. It's got a built-in kickstand for when you just want to relax and watch something. That's a nice touch.

Lunar Game Controller

Ok, this is the second most expensive item on this list. It's the premium Lunar gaming controller, an official Amazon brand product. It feels every bit as premium as an official Xbox or PlayStation controller. The haptic motors are fantastic, and button placements are very familiar. It runs on 2AA batteries. The sticks feel great, and I love the convex-style caps.

But here is where it's next level. You can hard wire in via USB C to PC or MAC when you're not using it with your phone or TV. On a smartphone, you can connect over BT5.0, or if you're streaming games on the Amazon Lunar service, the Controller can establish its own connection to the Lunar servers, which massively reduces input lag response when cloud gaming.

There is a little caveat here, though. To truly use this as a smartphone game controller solution, you'll need a kickstand like the first product I mentioned.

Smartphone Control cradle

This is the 'MADE FOR AMAZON PHONE CLIP'. It's purpose-built for the Lunar Controller, and it costs 12.99. However, you can get these for DualShock 4, dual sense and Xbox controllers. I'll have links to all of those in the description. The great thing about this approach to mobile gaming is that you get the proper premium pad experience with supported games, but also, when you're not gaming, you can use the pad as a counterweight to hold your phone like a kickstand would. So if you want to watch something, you can do that

Logitech Cloud Gaming

Here's something special you'll love if you're a mobile gamer. It's the Logitech G Cloud. This purpose-built cloud gaming device could be the next generation of portable gaming devices. If you want to discover what makes this unique, make sure you come back to WhatGear.UK for the full review.
